www.sedar.com is the official site that provides access to most public securities documents and information filed by issuers with the thirteen provincial and territorial securities regulatory authorities ("Canadian Securities Administrators" or "CSA") in the SEDAR filing system. The statutory objective in making public this filed information is to enhance investor awareness of the business and affairs of issuers and to promote confidence in the transparent operation of capital markets in Canada. Achieving this objective relies heavily on the provision of accurate information on market participants.

The System for Electronic Document Analysis and Retrieval (SEDAR) is a filing system developed for the Canadian Securities Administrators to:
  • facilitate the electronic filing of securities information as required by Canadian Securities Administrator;
  • allow for the public dissemination of Canadian securities information collected in the securities filing process; and
  • provide electronic communication between electronic filers, agents and the Canadian Securities Administrator

On www.sedar.com, investors and other authorized users can find and retrieve issuer profiles and SEDAR public securities filings and information from the SEDAR filing system, together with the latest news about SEDAR.

This web site is updated every fifteen minutes, Monday – Friday, 7 am – 11 pm ET (excluding statutory holidays) with new publicly accessible filings, as well as access to official copies of those new filings, historic public filings and other information.

  • Information on the rules for electronic filing can be found in SEDAR Rules and Forms.

  • If you are interested in subscribing to the SEDAR application software, please click here.

  • For commercial users, if you are interested in subscribing to the SEDAR Data Distribution Service, please contact the CSA Service Desk at 1-800-219-5381.
